Tulare County Prevention Coalition
The Tulare County Prevention Coalition (TCPC) is a group that aims to prevent alcohol and other drug misuse/abuse in Tulare County. The coalition was formed in 2012 and consists of community members, providers, and stakeholders who work together with governmental agencies to create measurable and sustainable community change.
The current priority areas for prevention efforts are:

Youth marijuana use

Underage drinking
-
Prescription drug misuse and abuse
Although these are the current priority areas, the coalition is also aware of emerging issues such as Fentanyl and opiate misuse/abuse and vaping misuse/abuse that need to be addressed.

TCPC meets Quarterly (January/April/July/October) on the second Wednesday of the month. This is a hybrid meeting, offered virtually and in-person.
