Social Host Ordinance

NCADD successfully advocated for the implementation of the Social Host Ordinance in the City of Tulare, the City of Visalia and the County of Tulare. The County of Tulare ordinance includes alcohol and all forms of marijuana.

What is a social host ordinance? A social host ordinance is a local, city-specific law intended to hold individuals responsible for hosting or knowingly providing a place for underage drinking. Violators could be cited and fined under the City’s Social Host Liability Ordinance. Fines are as follows:
